As the Vice President of Business Development & Strategy for the Central Life Sciences Professional Brands business unit, Scott’s primary responsibility is leading business development aligned to the organization’s new vision and strategy. Scott has spent a majority of his career working in the structural pest, turf, horticulture, agriculture, and consumer lawn & garden markets.

After more than a decade and four relocations for positions of increasing responsibility, Scott became the Sr. Vice President of the turf & ornamental business group. Most recently, Scott spent nearly ten years with Valent USA leading its non-crop business and as the Director of the coastal business unit, which specializes in crop protection chemicals. In the past 20 years Scott has been a member of Crop Life America and also served two terms on the Responsible Industry for Sound Environment (RISE) Board.

Scott obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in business from Furman University. He also completed the Executive MBA program at Wake Forest University.

Mark is the Vice President of Marketing at Central Life Sciences, overseeing the Marketing and Marketing Communications departments for the Professional Branded Businesses, which includes a diverse range of markets, including Livestock, Specialty Agriculture, Farm & Ranch, Professional Pest Control, and Vector/Mosquito Control. Mark is a committed leader, focused on driving greater insight into the habits and preferences of “professional” consumers and customers.

Prior to joining Central, Mark spent a combined seven years at Alpharma Animal Health and Merrick’s Animal Nutrition in various roles, including Technical Service Manager, Sales Representative and Cattle Marketing Manager.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a Master of Science degree in Animal Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s College of Agriculture and Science.

Wes currently leads the finance and accounting efforts and Professional Business Unit as the Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Central Life Sciences. Wes joined Central Garden & Pet as part of the Sandoz animal health business unit acquisition in 1997 and has held a variety of finance positions since that time. He has spent the majority of his career working in the manufacturing and consumer packaged goods industries, and in his prior position, he acted as Division Controller for Central Life Sciences.

Prior to joining Central Life Sciences, Wes worked at Sandoz Agro, EJ Brach Corporation, and Ace Hardware Corporation. He also worked as Director of Division Finance for Nalco Water (an Ecolab Company) where he acted as corporate liaison and provided direct business support to multiple global businesses.

Wes earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from North Central College, an MBA in Finance from DePaul University, and is a CPA.

As Director of Human Resources for Central Life Sciences, Erin develops and implements policies that support strategic Human Resources objectives. Erin joined the company in 2012 as a Human Resources Manager. She was quickly promoted to Senior Regional Human Resources Manager after taking on responsibility for the Pet Segment joint sales team and the Central Specialty Pet business unit. She was promoted again to Director in 2017 and has since taken on additional responsibility for Segrest Inc., Central Pet Distribution and recent acquisitions C&S and General Pet Supply Company.

Prior to joining Central, Erin spent one year with Atlas Material Testing Technology as Senior Human Resources Manager, over five years as Corporate Human Resources Manager for Velsicol Chemical Corporation (now Eastman Chemical) and over five years with Quest International (now Givaudan).

Erin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and MBA from Northern Illinois University. Erin maintains both her SPHR and SHRM-SCP professional certifications.

As Senior Vice President of Operations for Central Life Sciences, Mike coordinates and oversees operations activities within the organization, ensuring efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs. In his previous role as Vice President of Chemical Consumer Goods Manufacturing, Mike oversaw manufacturing, warehousing and distribution for six plants across the United States, producing a wide array of consumer goods for both the Garden & Animal Health industries.

For the past 44 years, Mike has been a passionate leader serving in various capacities such as Supply Chain, Quality Management, Operations Management, and Continuous Improvement. Mike’s career with the organization spans assignments in Consumer Goods, Pet Wellness, and Agricultural Chemicals.

Mike graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.
